  1. The hacksaw dissection in Terrifier was hard to watch. Art the clown probably scares Jason, Michael Myers and Freddie Krueger.

  2. the scene in Dr. Sleep with the boy, that scene absolutly made me sqirm….. im not very big on slasher/horror films

  3. The chapter part of the video calls it tokyo ghoul police and I was like, "there's tokyo ghoul content i haven't seen? Why would it be on here? Did they abandon the human monster philosophy to focus on the horror? Why?"

  4. Irreversible – it’s banned but I found a copy – can’t really explain my feelings to the scene when she leaves the party but my god, it left a scar . Brilliantly performed by Monica Bellucci

  5. Couldn’t watch past the cringe weak female whining about harm coming to women.

You ever seen .. I don’t know.. like.. every film EVER where men are victims of violence 😂

    Insufferable crybabies

  6. Honestly, I appreciate lists like this. I love horror, I watch it at least 3 times a week, but I don’t find nihilism entertaining. I at least like to know going in that it’s gonna be rough…or to give it a pass completely. My son warned me about Poughkeepsie Tapes and because I knew to steel myself, I was fine. Don’t know if I’ll watch it again, but it didn’t annihilate me like the pointlessly, graphically sexually violent Irreversible (Gaspar Noé is a pig).

Couldn’t make it through Henry because Michael Rooker looked like my stepdad lol. And I wished that I hadn’t watched Exhibit A, though kudos for performances and realism.

But am I the only one who thought Terrifier was boring? I don’t care how gruesome the “kills”, it’s hard to feel anything when the papier-mâché characters have been written to be nothing more than slasher chum. At least make me want to NOT want them to die.

  7. Though nothing (in the horror and/or thriller genre) has ever really broke me, I will say, that A Serbian Film is absolutely disgusting, and amazingly brilliant. And I will never watch it a second time.
