Swimming pool to shut following college summer time holidays for flume refurbishment works

Refurbishment works can be carried out at a swimming pool in Walton-on-the-Naze following the varsity summer time holidays.

Works can be happening to refurbish the driving floor of the flume at Walton-on-the-Naze Life subsequent month.

The flume can be closed from 2 to six September whereas the instructing pool space can be decreased through the works.

On Monday, September 9, the pool can even be closed though the gymnasium can be open as regular.

The pool will reopen on Tuesday, September 10, though prospects are suggested that water ranges and temperatures, which can be barely decrease and cooler than regular, can be step by step returning to regular ranges all through the day.

Councillor Mick Barry, portfolio holder for Leisure and Public Realm at TDC, stated: “These deliberate upkeep works are required to make sure the favored flume at Walton-on-the-Naze Life stays operational for our prospects.
