  1. Do you think using mylar on the windows would help?
Mylar blankets are so cheap and they work
I use them to grow fruits and veggies inside my house and I’m in Maine, can’t grow much outside for long, the mylar keeps my plants warm

  2. That gas thing looks very dangerous, (i just start the car turn heater on for a bit until temperature a climates to my body again.) Also i look for under bridge parking to spend the night. Good luck everybody!

  3. I really appreciate this. I camped with my son for a year and while still on the east coast at the end of October, it got cold at night. I ended up having to use stubby thick candles in a short glass holder to keep warm.

  4. Wool is your friend. Even one wool blanket as close to your body as you can stand is so much warmer than a pile of synthetic blankets. Wool is also breathable so you won't get clammy.

  5. Everyone should keep a wool blanket. They don't attract moisture they dry really quick if they do get wet. Lots of benefits, just get one but don't put them in the dryer

  6. In the cold:
    Park under an evergreen tree.
Park against a western wall preferrably where theres hard paved area.
Im tall so l use the drivers seat the footwell is the enemy. Pad out the floor as this can get freezing.
Adjust your sleeping l always wake up at half past threezing. Just turn your motor on and listen to the radio. The morning sun is nice to snooze to or go shopping.
At least the bugs are gone and the little miscreants are tucked up in warm beds.
    Get sleep where you can.
