This is a awesome list loved it 🖤🔪 horror sign me up thank u
My top 5 favorite horror movies:
5. Bride of Chucky
4. The Evil Dead
3. Freddy vs. Jason
2. It (2017)
1. Get Out
I remember being in high school watching WatchMojo videos the entire day throughout classes…good times
My whole teenage memories nostalgia a lot here. Good times.
Older horror films are the best. The ones that come out today just lack a lot what the likes of elm street, friday the 13th, the birds etc had that made them the best in the first place
Salò dubbed. No, thanks.
Anyone know the background music?
Only know about Nosferatu because of Spongebob.
Get out was dumb!
I'm surprised that any of those movies were successful. I think Salo (a Hundred Days if Sodom) was actually a snuff film.
"SAW" and "CABIN IN THE WOODS" are ingenious. It seems like many people, in power, lack vision.
Cabin In The Woods is a brilliant film.
One of the best modern horror movies I've seen at that time.
Child’s Play 2 was technically rejected by MGM/UA before being moved to Universal. 🦁➡️ 🌎
Not seen The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) and Salo.
Freddy Kruger reminds me of some scary Bros I know 😉
The exorcist still creeps me out every time I've watched it, and I've had to seen it probably at least a hundred times. All these movies are genius in their own right in their own way
They say that New Line is the studio Freddy built
I loved how after being snubbed (sometimes on purpose) when Hitchcock won the lifetime achievement award he said "thank you very much" and left the stage. The Academy got what they deserved.
How many of these movie studios are still regretting the rejection of these films?
Saw
It's ridiculous to say "psycho" is number one.
It was clearly anticipated that the original movie was going to be a major hit.
That's historically factual.
To not include the original halloween movie and the original friday the 13th movie in this list?
Its historically factual that it was believed those two movies were not going to be major hits .
Yet they turned out to be the most watched horror movies in history.
To the narrator of this video, I'm sorry but, your wrong.
Seriously.
Redo your research.
I'm just curious.
Did she say "david bowie" did the song "" under pressure.
If she did, the song that was playing in this video, at that point in this video, was not david Bowie.
I'm just saying.
Ya know?
I watched Psycho, The Exorcist, and the original Nightmare on Elm Street. No fear, no jump scares, and overall, wasn't impressed. I've begun involved in situations like that in war and in investigating homicides. Those situations tend to set your bar high. Real life is the Queen Bitch and Hollyweird comes in at a distant second.
Try David Bowie and QUEEN!!!!!!!! NOT JUST BOWIE!!!!!! UGH
I laughed at that scene where the dude slammed into the invisible wall for "The Cabin in the Woods"
At least they're better than those b grade horror movies
10 (Saw) and 5 (Nightmare On Elm Street) surprised me the most. They are too good of movies, at least the original movies, and I could not imagine what the genre would be without it. I also don't want to 🤷🏽♂️😂💯
Still waiting for the day the academy will recognize and give the freaking Oscar of the best film for a horror movie.
No one is shocked by Nosferatu to be on the list??? I think that’s a real surprise 😮
I loved get out. It was so twisted and scary…Jordan peale is a great director.
Saw should be number 1… look how many sequels it has
The Human Centipede series has got to be the grossest movies ever made. I will NEVER watch any of the movies in the series.
Top 10 children/adolescents turned serial killers in slasher movies.
If you just watched this list and have not seen it already, DO NOT WATCH SALO. I am pretty sure you can end up on a government watch list. (sarcasm)
'Psycho.'
1984's 'A Nightmare on Elm Street.'
'Get Out.'
'The Exorcist.'
Gotta love these horror/slasher movies.
Salo is the most depraved movie I have ever seen. There are many scenes of sexual abuse, and people eating feces. I wish I never saw it. If that movie made the list it should be #1, unless you are counting A Serbian Film.
